Each morning, students work on guided work. This includes practicing printing skills through writing about themselves and their addresses. Letter identification will also be addressed.
During the daily calendar routine, students will identify what the current day, month, and date. We will be reviewing the order of the days of the week and the months of the year. Students will also be asked what day it was yesterday and what day it will be tomorrow.
During calendar, we will be identifying what the current weather is, as well as predicting what the weather will be tomorrow. Students will also be asked to dress the weather-watcher according to the weather.
Students will be stating how they feel in sentence format. They will also be asked to describe why they feel that way. Finally, students will be answering the question of the day.
